About the event
This day starts by coordinating a neighborhood clean-up in the OST/South Union community in the third ward followed by a time of memoriam for Dr. King. We then present our annual MLK Service Award to a long-standing member of our community who has represented the values of Dr. King in our neighborhood. Finally, we will share in a community meal together as participants are encouraged to enjoy one another in fellowship and conversation.
